Good morning, Weekly Bev legends! I hope your week is off to a great start. I’ve got an emotional one for you today…
🎥 Ending the Vlog
Last week, I announced that the vlog will come to an end on day 1200. To put it mildly, the vlog has been the journey of a lifetime…and I wanted to share more of my thoughts on the decision and what’s next with you all. Apologies if this feels like a bit of ramble. It’s from the heart! :)
edited a lot of the vlogs right here…
The vlog has been a constant source of excitement and opportunity and happiness and growth for me over the past 1107 days. I think that last part is crucial; I’ve grown so much since I started the vlog, both as a filmmaker and as a person. I’ve had the chance to meet and work with amazing people, create content for brands I grew up idolizing, and build this community of ridiculously high quality individuals from nothing. It’s hard to put into words how much this has all meant to me, especially during such transformative years. I started the vlog when I was 24 and I’ll be wrapping it up as a spry 27 year old.
Recently, especially since day 1000, I’ve started to wonder—what’s the next mountain I need to climb? Day 1000 really felt like a peak moment for me. It was the perfect celebration. I was surrounded by so much greatness, whether it was my best friends or my favorite breakfast burritos, but to be honest since then I’ve felt a bit uncertain about where to go. The vlog is becoming less and less a challenge for me, and given how many incredible things came from the early challenges of the vlog, I know that I need to run towards challenge. I need to run towards growth. I need to find my next mountain.
In order for me to do that, I know that I need to wrap this up properly. I don’t want to stop abruptly—I want to celebrate the final 100 days and savor the last chapter of this incredible story. The final video will be especially crazy for me to upload. This vlog deserves a proper send-off, a final chapter worthy of the journey it’s been. It’s been amazing, and I want to do justice to the memories and experiences we’ve shared along the way.
Of course, it feels a little scary to let go of something I’ve been working on for over three years. The vlog has kept so many things in my life rolling. And I choose that word very intentionally. I think the vlog has given my life a sense of momentum. A feeling of constant movement, which has been just incredible. I’m so proud of the body of work that it has become. But fear isn’t a good reason to keep doing something, and I’ve learned that sometimes you have to move on when you’re in a position of strength. I have always created the vlog out of a place of confidence and love for the day to day of my life. I have faith that everything is going to be okay without it, and that this next phase will be full of opportunities to grow and evolve. I’m moving forward with confidence and faith, knowing that this decision is the right one for me personally and professionally.
hopefully make this guy proud
As I mentioned in my announcement video, even though the vlog is ending, my journey with content creation is obviously far from over. On day 1201, I’m going to continue making videos, but they’ll be different. Side note: I can’t help but think that day would make a killer vlog…Sorry. Back to the point here…I’ll have the freedom to spend more time on each video, and experiment with different formats, different interests, different projects. Hydrant will be a big focus! That’s so exciting for me to think. This new phase will be a chance to push myself in new ways and grow as a filmmaker. Some of it might feel a bit like the vlog, but without the daily structure, it will give me room to explore and challenge myself more.
much more fun cooking content otw
In conclusion, I want all of you to be excited about what’s coming next. I know it’s bittersweet to see the vlog end. Over the next 93 days, I have a few ideas to reflect on this ridiculously awesome journey and celebrate the vlog. I haven’t finalized everything, but I’m planning some exciting things. I might even return to where it all began… 🌅 This next phase is going to be full of possibilities, and I can’t wait to share it with you.
Thanks for being part of this journey—here’s to the final chapter of the vlog and everything that’s still to come.

Thank you guys for an incredible 1107 days and stay tuned for the next 1107 :)
Sincerely,
Jack
